  • Pu-Erh tea the tea trees used for production are 5-10 m tall and grow semi-wild at an altitude of approx. 1000-2000 m. The road owes its name to the city of the same name in southern Yunnan, China. Pu erh is made as a semi-fermented tea, but differs from oolong tea in its post-fermentation. During the slow fermentation process, the leaves are seeded with special microorganisms and fungi. They contribute to aging by forming a light mold similar to cheese depending on their age.
